Note: Sir David Monroe was the leader of SAVE and led the society from 1917-1919. He was killed during an investigation.
Sir David Monroe was an envoy of SAVE prior to the outbreak of World War I. His service to the society was set aside to serve in the British army during the war. He had risen to a Rank of Major during the conflicts of World War I. Upon his return to his native Britain, David returned to the service of the Society, even as he founded and ran his own chain of International Banking and Security houses.
Shortly after his return, he was hand selected by Richard Sandoval to succeed him as the leader of SAVE. Over the course of 1917, David assumed the mantle of the leadership and under his command, SAVE expanded their operations into Egypt, Greece and Iran.
David never married and remained dedicated to his work until the end. During an investigation into a series of mysterious disappearances taking place near a section of London Underground, he was killed.
